Dr. Raymond Bedlington
“My passion for Chiropractic has allowed me to help thousands of patients to become pain free, but more importantly to improve their overall health. Many times there is a difference between being pain free and healthy. My first and most important goal for you, as my patient, is to assist you in removing your pain symptoms with chiropractic care and restore a properly functioning nervous system. But just as important is to help your overall function by proper nutrition. A person can not be healthy with out a properly functioning nervous system and proper nutrition. How much help is a choice you get to make. What you do now for your health will affect how you will function in the future. Here’s a question for you to ponder, would you like to have adequate energy and be able to roll around on the floor and play with your grand kids, pain free, at age 80? Or would you rather have difficulty getting out or your chair at age 50? The choice is yours. What you do now will be your result in the future. Chiropractic can help!”
Dr. Raymond Bedlington is a life long resident of Whatcom County, graduating from Ferndale High School in 1977. Upon graduation Dr. Bedlington enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Germany as a radio repairman in an infantry unit. Returning to civilian life, he graduated from Skagit Valley College with an Associates in Technical Arts in Civil Engineering Technology, while supporting himself as a broiler cook in the evenings, a disc jockey at the college station, continuing his military service with the National Guard. “As an avid runner and sports enthusiast, I began to experience various injuries, something not uncommon with many athletes. One leg injury was so bad that I had to quit running. Visits to my medical doctor and an orthopedic specialist didn’t produce any positive results. I then turned to natural medicine, and with some changes to my diet, was back running, pain free, within a week. Chiropractic care further improved my overall health and energy level. This was my turning point toward natural health and helping others with their health concerns.”
In preparation for Chiropractic school, he returned to school at Western Washington University, and began Chiropractic College in 1988 at Western States Chiropractic College, graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1991. He worked as an associate doctor in a busy Seattle office before returning to Whatcom County in 1993 and opening Bedlington Chiropractic Center in Everson. He has attended a multitude of advanced training in a variety of specialities, including advanced Chiropractic techniques, Orthopedic training and Nutrition. Dr. Bedlington’s hobbies are music, cooking, gardening, weight training, photography and ballroom dancing as both a participant and as an instructor, and honoring his walk with God.
